My Story

What a transformation! After a careful refeeding program and lots of TLC by staff and volunteers, Winter’s health was finally restored. She is a bit skittish and is a cribber, but with consistent and patient handling we believe she can develop a strong bond with an adopter. Winter has recently been assigned to our trainer Matt, so work under saddle should commence soon (June/July).

Rescue Story

Winter Alban has a story similar to many others in our care. We rescued this chestnut mare on 11/20/16, found abandoned and alone in the infamous 8.5/East Everglades, tied to a fence with no food or water.
